Your local, rural virtual assistant

i make it happen

Shaping local identity

Small businesses are at the very heart of village and small-town communities and often reflect the unique character and culture of the area in which they’re based. Your business may be a resident landmark, a place where people gather, a well-known name with deep roots within the community, or a new entity designed to enhance it. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve got a local bakery, a family-run farm, or a quirky craft store, or you offer services like accountancy or tutoring, your business doesn’t only serve the needs of your community, it also contributes to its identity.

Focus on what's important

Outsourcing some of the administrative aspects of running your business gives you chance to focus on what’s important – the products or services that you provide. That’s where I come in. As a rural virtual assistant, I understand small, independent country businesses better than most and I’m passionate about supporting them, both personally and professionally. Success for small businesses isn’t lining the pockets of shareholders. It’s football boots and dance lessons for children, warm homes and food on the tables of families in your community.

Support for non-profits

Charitable causes and non-profit organisations are also close to my heart, and I specialise in working with these and small businesses, where my 17 years of experience in executive-level support can provide the greatest value. And while that sounds very corporate and fancy, what it really means is that I can take responsibility for everything from basic office organisation to the most complex and sensitive administrative tasks.

Flexible and friendly

Much as they say the city never sleeps, life in the Staffordshire countryside is far from 9 to 5 and I strive to provide a service that’s as flexible as it is friendly. I’m firmly in your corner and as part of your team, I’ll give your business as much dedication as I give my own. Whatever your needs, I make it happen.

A bit about me…

I love living a rural lifestyle in South Staffordshire and am proud to own a smallholding. When I’m not spending time tending to my animals or growing my own produce, you can find me nurturing hedgehogs as part of the rescue and release team at two local rescue centres.

As much as I adore the peace and quiet, sometimes I like to give into my wild side! At weekends you can often find me watching rugby or motorbike racing, either on tv or at live events.

In addition to spending 13 and a half years as an executive assistant for a housing association, I’ve spent the last four years running my own business as a rural virtual assistant and it’s here that I see my future.

If you run a charity or small business and want to work with an experienced virtual assistant who truly understands your needs, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
